I believe that personal coaching offers a powerful relationship which enables an individual to realize extraordinary results through a process of discovery, goal setting, and meaningful action. I stress a positive mindset which has evolved through a non threatening verbal coaching philosophy that began with my father. I stress that one can just as easily formulate a game plan to succeed as he can to fail. I have utilized this format to gain extremely strong results from many of your current players. I don't believe in using profanity or other strong armed means to gain respect from my clientele. My training format is results driven and the respect that I have from my clientele is a direct result of that mindset. Clients are confident that I will always place them in the most advantageous position to succeed, as is possible. I have utilized this training system to work with many top professional, college, and prep athletes and would honor an opportunity to sit down with you and discuss my training techniques in detail. I focus on creating positive results in each athlete’s personal & athletic life by building self-awareness and suggesting positive action. I have a great rapport with all my clients which promotes strong communication and interaction resulting in the creation of uninhibited trust. I want to know everything going on in their lives so that we can game plan on any problems that may arise. I also believe in developing a solid interaction with parents which hopefully gives them an additional means of support and soundboard for parental interaction. I believe that coaching facilitates a deepened understanding or awareness that opens doors to new possibilities in clarity of communication which promotes a stronger understanding for everyone involved in their personal growth.
I began my fitness training career as a multi-sport athlete participating in track, football, basketball and baseball in Thomasville, GA. I am the middle son of Dave Putman who was an Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Alabama under the legendary Johnny Dee. I continued my athletic endeavors at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Sports/Social Science. It was there that I developed a new innovative training format under the supervision of John F. Payne M.D. which stressed multiple angle varied resistance movements to promote fast twitch muscle fiber stimulation. This explosive training technique produced marked increase in lean muscle and rapidly decreased body fat resulting in a much more aesthetic look. It was successfully used for the development of speed, agility, and vertical training as well as an alternative post surgical rehabilitative tool for ACL procedures. Following graduation from FSU in December 1992, I started the Thomasville Athletic Club to manage and coordinate training procedures for medical management teams in the South Georgia. I achieved top 5 performer status over 12 times in a 6 year career stretching from Jan 93- Jan 99. In February 99 I was asked to join Sportlife Inc. as Director of Exercise Science. I coordinated trade show sports performance programs utilizing cutting edge training tools to increase interest in female and sports performance athletics. I was awarded top performer for the promotion of personal wellness and quality of life via daily participation in an accountability training regimen. In March 00 I founded B.L.A.S.T. Training emphasizing a multiple angle and varied resistance formula to produce extraordinary results in an accelerated time frame. I utilized this unique training protocol of fast twitch stimulation to promote lean muscle gain and reduce body fat for clientele list ranging from elite professional athletes to the corporate sector. I coordinated training presentations for companies seeking to reduce insurance premiums based on active participation in a wellness program. I established a track record developing transition and progressive programs for individuals and groups who are seeking to elevate their individual performance by increasing the existence of fast twitch muscle fibers. I recently started a Get Lean training program for Fit at 40 targeting active adults seeking to unlock the secret to quality of life.
I have actively participated in various athletic competitions throughout my life winning among other awards : The Thomasville Touchdown MVP, Who's Who in American Athletes, Multi Letter Winner Track and Field/Basketball/Football, Panhandle Relays MVP, ISMA Training Consultant Highest Score, Mike Long Hustle Award, Florida State Champion 220 LB Division 1994-1999 Bench Press, Regional Record holder Bench Press USDFA Total Champion 2001, Mr. Florida Panhandle Best Arms 2003, Nike Elite Sparq Lead 2004/2005, Super Show 2004 most innovative, Dade County Pump it Up Champion 2005

The key exercises will help increase your body strength, resulting in greater power. Aim to do these strength / aerobic training sessions if possible twice a week, especially in the off season.- speed and flexibility to improve your game.
The key area for improving the power behind your serves and returns, will come from a strong core stability muscle mid-section. We will incorporate over 20 different exercises for the abdominals, shoulders, arms, and legs utilizing the multiple angle varied resistance approach to increasing the bodies fast twitch muscle capabilities. High School Training Tennis Program (ages 10-18) This program is designed for the current Varsity tennis player wanting to sharpen their skills before or after the competitive season. Players generally have good stroke production but require increased strength and correct running form to be able to take advantage of their skill set. This is a cutting edge approach to training utilizing extremely light weight and various wrist and foot positions changes to force the body to respond to inconsistent resistance changes.
Tournament Training Players in this level are committed and actively competing in Championship level tournaments. Drills of high intensity are utilized to improve match play strategy, mental skills, footwork, shot selection, fitness and overall competitiveness. This is multiple angle approach to building fast twitch muscle fiber leading to increased racket speed and increased ability to cover the court.

Golf
"Don't change your club, change your club head speed."
This cutting edge approach to golf specific training will strengthen the muscle groups necessary to accelerate your club head speed with explosive power placing you in the unique position to enjoy an average distance gain off the tee of approximately 25 yards in less than 12 weeks. This exercise format targets the lateral deltoid, tricep, and latisimus dorsi region of the back as well as the anterior and posterior muscle groups of the lower body which are the critical muscle groups required to increase power at impact. We will utilize the BLAST Training multiple angle varied resistance approach to training in addition to incorporating a strong FAB AB core program that will yield maximal results in minimal time.
